Anisa joined the collective after working in India as a visual and strategic designer. She believes in design that is clever, effective and that solves problems. She also has an unhealthy obsession with snail mail. Using vignettes as a medium, she draws from personal conversations and experiences in order to visualise and explore Indian culture. Her research explores postcolonial hybridisation and how English has become an inherent part of the fabric of Indian languages today. With the intention to show rather than simply tell, her writing and illustrations were created in light of this research.
