Six
Protestors  &  Co

Ruiyang MA
Ruiyang came to the collective after working in graphic design at Condé Nast China. Being born with six fingers on his right hand, he had suffered from self-abasement as a result of prejudice and discrimination from others. He brings light to the way people can be labelled abnormal due to physical difference and how these labels affect them. His research leads to explorations into this prejudice and discrimination and in contrast how people with polydactyly are informed by the so-called standards of the human body which is influenced by the society or rather, the majority.
